Youth & Teen Dance
Youth classes at the HCA Dance Studio are the perfect opportunity to explore dance in a welcoming environment. We have classes for beginner level students to intermediate and advanced dancers. Our students make lasting friendships and learn from a dedicated team of dance faculty and guest faculty.

Please note that the age ranges and level placements below are suggestions only. Families of dancers age 8 and up should contact Director Jessica Wilson at jessica@hopartscenter.org to determine the most appropriate class. Placement in a level is subject to change and a student schedule may change during the course of a session based on the student's progression.

Adult/Teen Classes
DRESS CODE
It’s more than just an outfit. Proper dress code helps the dancers learn and stay safe.

-
The required clothing will allow dancers to see themselves in the mirror. The mirror is a tool that aids the dancers in identifying proper form while recognizing the feeling in the body that accompanies that form.
-
Well fit dance shoes allow dancers to work correctly, preventing injury and ensuring safety.
-
Hair secured off the face allows the dancers to easily use eye focus during movements aiding movement quality and musicality while allowing the dancer to fully participate in the movement without distraction.
-
Jewelry can be a distraction, and it can even be a hazard if it catches on something or falls to the floor. Please refrain from wearing jewlery in the studio except for religious and cultural reasons.
