A full production experience for 3rd – 8th graders

Rehearsals begin Sunday February 26, 2017  @ 3 pm (No auditions required. All who register will be cast in the production)

Rehearsals will be Sundays from 3pm – 5 pm and Thursdays 4:30 pm – 6pm (not all cast members will be called for all rehearsals). Performances will be May 19 – 21st at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts

The Snow Queen is a tale about the capture of a young boy, Kai, by the evil Snow Queen and a young heroine’s journey to rescue him. The heroine of the story, a girl named Gerda, who is Kai’s best friend, must traverse through a world filled with a number of eccentric and dangerous characters  to find and free Kai from the Snow Queen’s spell. The Snow Queen is a show that celebrates childhood and its ideals while important messages like devotion, bravery and triumph of love are explored thoughout the story.
