Administrator (Full Time)

The HCA is accepting resumes for a full time administrator, Monday-Friday, 9 am – 6 pm.
Duties include but are not limited to overseeing the day-to-day administrative needs of the Center, staffing the front desk, answering phones, greeting and assisting the public, processing box office transactions, coordination of HCA classes and private lessons instruction, and assisting the HCA staff on various projects.
Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational and customer service skills and be a skillful multi-tasker with attention to detail. Must be competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). A passion for the arts is key! The pay rate for this position is $17-$18/hr

Front Desk Assistant (PT)

The HCA is seeking part time front desk assistants. Perfect for high school students or retirees. Available shifts occur between 6 pm – 9pm during the week and Saturday mornings/afternoons.
Job duties include but are not limited to answering the phones, directing visitors to events in the center, helping set up or break down facility equipment, selling tickets to events, and some light cleaning and office work.
The right candidate will have basic computer/internet skills, demonstrate maturity, reliability, possess a friendly disposition, work well with others, and communicate professionally with both adults and children.

Event Staffer (on call)

The HCA is seeking high school/college students to join our team of per diem, on-call event staffers for various events that occur throughout the year at the HCA. Job duties include setting up and/or breaking down equipment and tables/chairs before and after events. Some events will require a person to be present during events to answer questions and respond to facility issues/concerns.
This position pay $12/hr. Employment for event staffing would be done on a first-come, first-serve basis based on your availability to work the event.
Applicants should demonstrate maturity, reliability, possess a friendly disposition, work well with others, and communicate professionally with both adults and children. Knowledge of audio-visual equipment is helpful, but not required. Physical requirements: must be able to lift at least 25lbs and navigate stairs.

All class proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and we will contact you for further information if we feel your proposal might be a good fit for an upcoming term. New teachers are encouraged to review our current course offerings. Our facilities include music studios, visual art studios, a theater classroom, and a dance studio. Adult courses run mornings, evenings, and weekends. Teen and children’s programs run in the afternoons and weekends during the school year.
