I'll Never Do That: A Recovery Month Event

Hopkinton Organizing for Prevention and Youth and Family Services are hosting this free Recovery Month Event. "I'll Never Do That" is a performance piece detailing the story of one family's struggles happening behind closed doors. As one of the parents descends deeper into addiction, the rest of the family struggles to cope. This story sheds light on family dynamics, the harrowing path to recovery, and the overwhelming truth that addiction is a "family disease."

2nd Act is a collective of artists in recovery that uses theater, film, and drama therapy to address the impact of substance use. Together, they empower diverse and inclusive communities to promote understanding in the face of stigma.

This presentation is recommended for adults and teens. Admission is free, but registration is encouraged. The performance will take place at Hopkinton Center for the Arts, located at 98 Hayden Rowe St, Hopkinton, MA.
